Product Introduction
The stainless steel wire rope clip is a hardware connector designed to secure, join, or fasten stainless steel wire ropes. Core Structure
- U-Bolt: A metal rod shaped like a "U." Its inner surface contacts the wire rope, serving as the primary component for applying clamping force.
- Base Plate: A metal plate featuring a curved groove. It works in conjunction with the U-bolt to form an encircling grip from the opposite side of the wire rope, preventing surface damage during clamping.
- Nut and Washer: Tightening the nut compresses the gap between the U-bolt and base plate, firmly locking the wire rope between them. The washer enhances the nut's anti-loosening effect.

Main Applications
Securing the End of a Wire Rope
When a wire rope is used to hoist heavy objects, secure equipment, or build structures, the rope end needs to be bent back to form an eye. One to three wire rope clips are then used to clamp the bent section to the main rope, creating a firm eye and preventing the end from unraveling.
Temporary or Permanent Connection of Two Wire Ropes
When a single wire rope is not long enough, the ends of two ropes can be bent back to form eyes. These two eyes are then joined and clamped together with wire rope clips, creating a longer rope that bears the load as a whole.
Adjusting the Tension of a Wire Rope
