7×19 indicates that the wire rope is composed of 7 strands, each of which consists of 19 finer stainless steel wires, for a total of 133 wires. This construction provides excellent flexibility while offering good fatigue resistance. Compared to 1×19 or 7×7 constructions, the 7×19 is "softer" at the same 3mm diameter, allowing it to easily pass through small-diameter pulleys or navigate complex routing.
