Precautions

 

  • Avoid repeated bending: 1x19 wire ropes have poor flexibility and are not suitable for pulley systems or applications involving frequent bending. If bending is required, consider using 7x7 or 7x19 constructions.
  • Pay Attention to End Fixation Methods: We recommend using press-fit sleeves, cast splices, or wedge-type connectors to avoid localized breakage caused by stress concentration from conventional rope clamps.
  • Regular Inspection: While 304 stainless steel offers good corrosion resistance under normal conditions, we still recommend regular inspection for rust spots or wear in high-salt, high-humidity, or acidic/alkaline environments.
