Features and Advantages
Highly corrosion-resistant
Constructed from 304 or 316 stainless steel, it resists corrosion from water, chemical agents and salt spray, remaining rust-free and colour-fast. Suitable for harsh environments such as swimming pools, chemical plants and coastal buildings.
Mechanical anchoring
By tapping or twisting, the expansion sleeve (tube) expands to generate substantial friction against the borehole wall, achieving physical fixation without chemical reactions. Installation is rapid, and load-bearing capacity remains stable.
High load-bearing capacity
Designed to withstand heavy loads, such as fixed steel structures, railings, equipment bases, etc.
Suitable for a wide range of substrates
Suitable for dense substrates such as solid concrete, solid brick, and natural stone (not suitable for hollow brick or aerated concrete).
How do I install it?
The installation quality directly determines the performance of the anchor bolts; it is imperative to adhere to standard operating procedures.
Drilling: Using a drill bit matching the anchor bolt specification, drill holes of the specified depth into the substrate. Precision in both hole diameter and depth is critical, with tolerances ideally maintained within ±0.5mm.
Borehole cleaning: This step must not be skipped! Thoroughly clear all dust and debris from the borehole using tools such as an air pump and brushes. Failure to do so will significantly compromise expansion effectiveness and load-bearing capacity.
Installation: Insert the anchor bolts into the holes and apply the precise torque specified in the product instructions using a torque wrench. Excessive torque may damage the substrate, while insufficient torque will result in inadequate fixation.
Precautions for Use
The use of [material/substance] on hollow bricks is strictly prohibited
Expansion anchors require full borehole wall support, which hollow bricks cannot provide sufficient grip for.
Margins and spacing
The installation position must be positioned at a certain distance from the edge of the substrate (typically ≥ twice the diameter of the anchor bolt) to prevent edge chipping of the substrate.
Chemical anchor replacement
In scenarios involving cracked concrete or where seismic resistance is paramount, stainless steel chemical anchors (secured via chemical adhesives) are recommended, as they offer superior seismic performance compared to mechanical expansion anchors.
